THREAD: 12 Things Everyone Should Know About IQ

1. IQ is one of the most heritable psychological traits – that is, individual differences in IQ are strongly associated with individual differences in genes (at least in fairly typical modern environments). www18.homepage.villanova.edu/diego.fernande…
2. The heritability of IQ *increases* from childhood to adulthood. Meanwhile, the effect of the shared environment largely fades away. In other words, when it comes to IQ, nature becomes more important as we get older, nurture less. pdfs.semanticscholar.org/7a6b/ad93d88b0…

1. Read my thread from yesterday on defending the Senate. Adopt two senators, and make them your new BFFs. Commit to doing something for them every week.

2. When you're done picking Senators, call current Senators re: SCOTUS and say:

If 237 days is too close to an election for the Senate to vote on Merrick Garland, 132 days is definitely too close for the Senate to vote on Kennedy's replacement.

This has to be said non-stop.
