1/ A quick Tallahassee note: yes, three days without power sucked. Yes, there are still plenty of people here without power, but the crews from around the country are crawling over every square inch of this County switching the lights back on.
2/ At this rate, sometime in the next 24 hours power will have been restored to almost every one of the 111k households that were blown out. The big, cooperative effort of Mutual Aid is a success story, and I see people in my timeline who were bitching within hours of the storm
3/ We were so unbelievably fortunate here. A few homes, including some near us, were badly damaged, but we we're spared the worst of Hurricane Michael.

4/ That said, I'd encourage you to focus on the fact that while a few thousand people in TLH don't have power, many many thousands more in Panama City, Port St Joe, and along the coast have nothing.
They're not getting their power back, ever, because their homes are gone.
