Nonsense. Yelling at journalists at public places is also protected speech. I have a feeling that you would not like people yelling at you at restaurants and wouldn't be so quick to defend that behavior.

No one is suggesting it is illegal. Not everything that is legal is good.
Yelling racist and antisemitic things at people is also protected by the first amendment, but most people also view that as bad. Harassing political opponents at restaurants is also bad.

Something can be legal and still be bad. This isn't hard.
Reporters tell people how to exercise their Constitutional Rights all the time. I'm betting a 30 second search will find countless examples of @WesleyLowery doing exactly that. They do it on guns, on speech, on voting.

Crazy to pretend otherwise.

How many times have reporters condemned things Trump says? How many journalists have criticized how gun owners exercise their rights?

Using this logic, they are all wrong to do that. It's pure poorly thought-out nonsense being used to justify bad behavior from partisan mobs.
As an example, here is Wesley trying to baselessly blame the Giffords shooting on an unrelated election map from Palin.

Not much concern then about reporters telling someone about how they "should or should not exercise their Constitutional rights".
Lastly, as others have noted, the places where many of these things are taking place are not traditional or designated public forums. These protestors do not have unlimited speech rights in these areas.

Restaurants don't have to allow idiots to yell at their customers.
