you need to work on your customer assistance. Why would you tell people to print their tickets and same time ask for the emailed PDF tickets? You should have used scanners. But that was not in your plan #KatikaFestival
now what you should have done is to have a Customer Assistance Desk. you should have had a plan for those who forgot to print their ticket #KatikaFestival
trying to help those people in the entrance line was a huge mistake. you should have had a customer assistance desk designated somewhere away from the entrance line #KatikaFestival
when your ticket scanners or list staff had trouble finding or checking in an attendee,they should have instructed the attendee to go to the Customer Assistance Desk #KatikaFestival
solving ticket issues can take a little bit of time. when you decided to assist those in the entrance line, the entire line stopped and the attendees in the back of the line got frustrated from there people in the line got generally content #KatikaFestival
its normal for Kenyan events to have one entrance and same as exit. it was a bad idea for the organizers to use the entrance at the beginning and during the event as an exist also #KatikaFestival
there was a time the ambulance wanted to exist yet the crowd stacked at the gate. the security couldnt let it exit simple because they wouldn't manage the crowd after its allowed to exit #KatikaFestival
it should be noted that there were no signage of fire exit not even one #KatikaFestival
the in/out policy was that attendees would exit, and they will be allowed back in again. but as time went that was changed and there was no re-entry #KatikaFestival
from the word go you should have sticked to one policy and make sure everyone was highly informed before getting in to the event #KatikaFestival
sound check should have been done earlier to give more time for proper mixing to be done not late as 9:30PM #KatikaFestival
normally sound checks are done before the gates are opened but Wizkid band was doing theirs after the gates were opened and that gave very little time to make the sound good #KatikaFestival
on another note, Wizkid was ready to give a full live band performance,that didnt went well and the DJ who was supposed to be plan B failed to be ready intime #KatikaFestival
WizKid was left with plan C which was him singing acapellas😪 #KatikaFestival
i have seen artistes stop playing when the band or the DJs are having sound issues, @FestKatika @NRGRadioKE you should thank @wizkidayo he did his best and kept the show running,he didnt act a superstar #KatikaFestival
