As we see races from FL to CA flip as the (slow!) counting goes on, might be a good opportunity for media to reflect on how they could better relate to viewers that the counting does not end when their own election-eve anchors go off the air.
We also know that the slow counts typically result in D's making more late gains than R's, since large population centers tend to be the slow ones! It's not surprising! We just aren't used to this new normal of having so very many close races!
Instead, top Republicans, including our idiot president, are promoting the idea that votes counted by election officials after midnight of election day are somehow invalid because reasons. This is a toxic, cancerous, stupid notion and ppl promoting it should be shunned.
