The conference highlighted how much life nullification still has from the Obama years—and how ready these extreme right circles are to bring it back under some future Democratic administration. Get ready for more "Nullification Now!" rallying cries in the coming years.
(I got to break to the conference that acting AG Mark Whitaker was a supporter of nullification, which was met with oos, ahhs, and gasps of excitement throughout the room.)
And yes, the Venn diagram between this conference and white nationalism is basically a circle, despite their semantics.
Also yesterday was (I think) the first time that #Calexit folks from @YesCalifornia and Texas secessionists from @TexasNatMov were in the same room since that 2016 conference in Moscow.
