Yes, Twitter is full of hate and lazy sarcasm and mobs of morons and all that. But over the last few days I've watched people on here, from across the spectrum, incl Leavers, grapple with the deal, show what it means, and exploring their conscience about how to respond.
Whereas what I've seen on TV and heard on radio is mostly just angry shouting and the standard Westminster psychodrama coverage.
It's actually quite startling, when you spend a few hours on here, watching the TV news and seeing how basic and noisy and misleading it is.
There are, of course, good reasons for that - much broader audience, need for excitement, non-bespoke info feed. And some TV and radio work over last few days has been very good.
But it's worth noting, given we spend much of our time slagging this website off, that it has been the source for a lot of informative and honest work over last few days.
