1. I think I many have an answer to this but need a little more information. The @nytimes story today addresses WH Counsel writing a memo that warned @realDonaldTrump he could be impeached for ordering DOJ to charge @Comey & @HillaryClinton.
2. A few days ago @maddow did a story on DC Circuit Judge Greg Katsas refusing to answer @SenBlumenthal questions in Senate Judiciary during his confirmation. If he concealed a felony he's got a problem. If it was the conduct detailed in @NYTimes story IMO it's not privileged.
3. So Katsas recusal may not be directly related to a case but to Katsas' own exposure due to @Trump obstruction. Remember @HillaryClinton is a victim to of the crime #GRU conspiracy committed. Comey was witness to obstruction. Watch to see if judge Katsas recuses other cases.
4. I'd check judge Katsas' case dockets to see if suddenly they all get put in the slowlane. Changes in oral argument schedules would be evidence to support that. @lawrence @JonLemire @nytmike @maggieNYT @RepAdamSchiff @MarkWarner @FBIWFO @WhiteHouse
5. @maddow just said that they were reporting it happened this spring. So Katsas was already on the bench. I'll still watch it until the tick tock is out. Rachel also reported that there was another report that McGahn earlier went to DOJ to get them to investigate Comey.
