While many joke about feeling poor, few are really in the pain cave yet. This could be bullish - the space is more comfortable than the bitcoin funerals in the MSM suggest. Or it could be bearish - indicating we are far from the bottom.
Exchanges and other service providers are still feeling good and seem to have fairly booming businesses despite the downturn. Fund managers not so much...
It is unfathomable to me that this truly absurd picture of me and @adamwgoldberg was taken only 6 months ago. This was Consensus in May where you may recall seeing many such costumed ICOs were roaming around. 
No really. Consensus - where 24 year olds were literally accosting me with elevator pitches for their funds and I couldn’t move three feet without someone handing me a QR code for their ICO and afterparties involved lambo giveaways - was only 6 months ago.
Hard to express how different the vibe is now. Overall I think it’s a healthier environment now with substantially more balance and thoughtfulness but I’m not saying I don’t miss the madness.
