I've heard some pretty shit takes out of the UKIP Boy's Club, but Dank, this has gotta be one of the most... smooth-brained of the lot. Jesus, where do you begin?
You first start hearing the term capitalism in the 17th century, in Holland & England.

That was the age that saw the rise of the Dutch East India company - an institution predicated on slaves, as they built their colonies & worked plantations. slavery.iziko.org.za/vocandslavery
The Dutch started the modern slave trade, with their first commercial forays, but it was the British who ran with it.

Starting in the late 17 and early 18th century, the Atlantic slave trade brought thousands to the American colonies. nationalarchives.gov.uk/slavery/pdf/br…
The Atlantic slave trade was so profitable, for both traders and owners, that huge compensation payments had to be made when it was abolished, establishing the wealth of some of the UK'S richest. independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-n…
India was effectively placed under the military control of a corporation by the British East India Company, during the 1st half of the 19th century. historyextra.com/period/tudor/t…
All of this was predicated on the subjugation of other races, supported by the birth of scientific racism - a means of justifying their actions. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
Westward Expansion across the US - so-called 'Manifest Destiny' was predicated on the idea that the white man was supposed to make use of the West to create capital, as the indigenous population had not used it - again touching on scientific racism. users.humboldt.edu/ogayle/hist110…
In the UK and the US, as the 18th and 19th centuries progressed, the Industrial Revolution drove many people into the citiesto work in factories.

Women and children were exploited to work in factories, as they could be paid less. independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-n…
Many of those who were at Peterloo in Manchester in 1819 - and injured - were women and children who had come to protest the conditions under which they worked. radicalmanchester.wordpress.com/2010/03/02/wom…
Women, children and immigrants were also used as cheap labour in the US, as they were far less likely to make noise about safety concerns.

This had tragic consequences, in such incidents as the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire. trianglememorial.org/triangle-histo…
White men - and mostly English speakers - would only gain many of the concessions that prevented horrible exploitation after horrible violence from strikebreakers, particularly in the US. ditext.com/taft/violence1…
Still, women lag behind in most of the world in average wage, access to education and almost every other outcome thanks to the legacy of unchecked capitalism.

Many nations that were colonies still bear the scars and grapple with issues introduced during violent subjugation.
Capitalism works only because it DOES give a shit about sex, gender, age or ethnicity. It only works if there is a marginalised or subjugated labour force present.

Even today, companies like Amazon only exist thanks to immigrants, women & minorities.
So come the fuck on, @CountDankulaTV, think a little more before you say stupid shit like that, it's embarrassing. Stick to the memes.
PS. No, I won't debate you.
