3/trope in some lefty/progressive circles -- articles/ideas/speakers causing deep psychological harm to individuals who experience them. In this case professional journalists. Anyway, Greenwald is very pro-free-speech and not a fan of this sort of rhetoric, and this could explain
4/ the rather Get Off My Lawn deck and his use of some form of the term "trauma*" 14 times in one article. Parts of the article are AMAZING when you are aware that the context is him being cranky at his younger staffers. This interests me because I've heard of similar stuff going 
5/ on at other left-of-center publications -- claims of genuine harm that, not long ago, just didn't happen. I'm not saying this is a common thing, or that the median left-of-center journalist holds this sort of view, but I have heard of more than one incident. Anyway, that's all
6/ I got but I found this whole thing pretty amusing. If I ever run a publication (God help us all) I am CONSTANTLY gonna throw shade at my staffers in my columns. Way less subtly than Greenwald did.
7/ Missing context: Topic, like TI, is another First Look site. So that must have been the source of the claims of traumatization -- trying to get Topic to not run stuff like that in the future.
