Time Magazine Says Drop In Divorce Rate Is Causing Inequality

Further proof that leftist will stop at nothing to tear down every noble institution in society. Expect the next Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to agitate for govt to mandate a minimum divorce rate in the name of fairness.
It's amazing how leftists process statistics to draw the most deranged inferences. Here's the article with the concluding paragraph I excerpted in the previous tweet.

Somebody should ask the bright lights at the Time Magazine how come the poor were not excluded from the institution of marriage even during the Great Depression, but now they somehow are. What has changed? Certainly not the level of poverty. Could govt incentives be implicated?

1. "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch"
It is the most hopelessly useless piece of crap in the Netflix series. The inability to fast forward or rewind is annoying as hell, and the interactive decision points are patronizing garbage.
2. I abandoned the sorry episode after about 40 minutes as I found it more boring than filling a form in a physician's office. If this is the entertainment of the future, I would much rather take up darning socks for amusement.
3. Could my dislike of this episode have something to do with the fact that I have zero interest in video games? Having engineered and implemented numerous mission critical software systems worldwide, I find it boring to match wits with mundane software programs.

Only in rabid socialist imaginations anything is free.
-- Public schooling isn't free. People pay through their noses for it in property taxes.
-- Social Security isn't free. It's people's own money taken and returned by govt.
-- VA isn't free. People pay for it through taxes.
As for the cutesy "free of cost at the point of service" goes, all consumer purchases all across the world are also "free of cost at the point of service" when people pay with a credit card. But only the dumbest of the dumb think "free at point of service" is free of cost.
And when the federal govt is running a trillion dollar deficit every year since 2009 (and don't you dare blame tax cuts because revenue went UP because of the tax cuts; deficits are caused by run-away spending), your credit card bills will have to be paid by future generations.

1. 2016 Election: A Liberal Paradox (in a few short tweets)
As you know, I respect and value all voters, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and others alike. I don't have the same view of party leaders though, and I loathe liberal mainstream media partisanship.
2. Now I believe "Russia Interference!" is a cruel hoax played by MSM and Democratic leadership on unsuspecting Democrat voters. Because if it isn't, then it creates a mother of all paradoxes for the Democratic base. Let me explain how.
3. Democratic base has been led to believe:
a) Trump won because ignorant American heartland yahoos voted for him, i.e. Republican voters are dumb, Democratic voters are smart.
b) Thousands of Dem voters were influenced by Russian trolls into voting for Trump or Green Party.

I’ve been critical of some of AOC’s early choices but IMHO there has been a lot to applaud and little to criticize since the election.

In particular, AOC’s use of social media should be an object lesson to other Dems.
Change is uncomfortable sometimes and she’s obviously doing things differently...

...but I think she’s changing the game in good and positive ways.

She’s humanizing the office. She’s engaging people in the inner workings. She’s advocating organically by showing the system.

One aspect of this I did not get into is the long reach of Gov. Cuomo's 2012 decisions. Some Dems blame him for both failing to veto state Senate's legislative gerrymandering scheme and allowing them to decouple congressional redistricting, which eventually sent it to the courts.
For all the talk of "expanding the electorate" and reviving the Obama coalition in places like Georgia, @Ocasio2018 appears to be the most air-tight proof of concept for it so far. It was a deliberate part of her strategy, and how she defied Crowley poll showing him up by 36.
