Proof @DLeonhardt is just a partisan hack: after accusing @marcorubio of "doing something dangerous: Deliberately undermining people’s confidence in our electoral systems for partisan gain," he's totally silent on Sherrod Brown & Cory Booker claiming GOP is stealing GA election.
Leonhardt called Rubio an "autocrat" pushing "false conspiracy theories" & "using the language of democracy to subvert democracy" by "falsely accus[ing] Democrats of trying to steal elections" because he'd "rather win unfairly than lose fairly."

But total silence on Brown/Booker
Leonardt's boring morning newsletter spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday lobbing these "autocrat" attacks at Republicans.

This morning's newsletter? All about socioeconomic diversity on college campuses. No mention of Brown or Booker's comments yesterday. What a joke.

None of this gaslighting about 'Right-wing extremism' is new. The Obama administration repeatedly used DHS and DOJ to indicate that the 'real threats' came from veterans, Republicans, Teapartiers and "sovereign citizen" groups.
2014, @MSNBC and @CNN used specious #SPLC data and Obama administration propaganda to conclude that "since 911....More Americans have died at the hands of Right-wing political violence than Muslim extremists." Patently absurd propaganda, repeated ad nauseam.
Feb 2015, @CNN joined discredited hate-group, #SPLC and Obama admin again; "DHS report warns of domestic right-wing terror threat." The "report" wasn't released, and CNN claimed to have been leaked a copy, publishing only salacious smears. creators.com/read/michelle-…
