I thought this a little odd at first, but the reasons became obvious in short order.

Now, in a bit of foreshadowing, we're white, I have the standard issue military high-and-tight haircut, I'm wearing a sweatshirt with a military logo on it, and my truck has Florida state military plates.

Me: Yes. What's this about?
Him: We're trying to get an initiative on the next ballot to ensure only US citizens and registered Florida voters are allowed to vote in the state of Florida...

Me: Shut up. You can ONLY vote in the state of Florida if you're an American citizen and registered to vote in the state or Florida.
Him: Oh, if only that was true...
