Many years ago (before I was saved), I was given (two different times) a diagnosis that led to death eventually. Until then, I hadn't really thought about death, and like many, I had never acknowledged that death could come at any time.
Though life is hard, challenging, and often
unfun, I am much more in tune with my own mortality, and it doesn't scare me at all. I had the chance to revisit the feeling recently (when I was threatened online), and although kind of crazy, I still agree with my reply to the threat. I basically told them to 'Bring it'.
We
need to not fear our own mortality, as we truly are a finite being. Death could come at any moment, and in a million different ways. But...
How prepared are you for what happens after death? This body has a limitation, but the soul, the spirit, does NOT have the same limitation.
It has the potential for an eternal life.. the question though is where do we stack up for that? Scripture tells us many things about what is next for us. There's a possibility for a 2nd death, our future depends on what we do now, and also that we could never do ANYTHING to earn
that eternal life by our own selves (among other truths).
I don't fear death from here. I don't fear what any mortal could do to me, and yes, I realize that once he goes public, the Antichrist will do his best to make me fear it all/him...
It doesn't matter. The only concern I
concern myself with is remembering to humble myself before the only One who can kill this body as well as the soul - GOD. Through Yeshua's (Jesus') righteous judgement, I (all of us) could be tossed into the lake of fire for our 2nd death... And a reminder... We all deserve it,
We have ALL fallen short in the eyes of Our Father, and our best is only as good as a filthy (used) menstrual rag.
So... Try to keep your eyes on what lays ahead for you. Take time to be mindful, fully cognizant of being spiritually awake. Make your choice now for where you wish
to spend eternity, for ultimately the choice is this: either eternity WITH the Father; or eternity withOUT the Father. There is no chosing after you die, and death could even be before your next breath, so please, take time to think about that today.
If you don't know Yeshua (GOD
in flesh form), please consider taking the time to get to know Him.
Life always shown is that choices have consequences. Why leave eternity to chance? Especially when you don't have to? I ask that you take time today, and think about it. None of us are even guaranteed our next
breath, right? So, at least take a few minutes to consider what consequence you want for your choice on whether to know Yeshua (Jesus), or not. Just think about it.
Hugs. GOD Bless you
