If you publish content (blogs, podcasts, videos, etc.) regularly, people will discover you and initiate unexpected opportunities. They’ll open doors you didn’t even know existed.
Maintain a website so people can find your bio, share your work, and describe you in a favorable light. Once your website is live, publish content to encourage people to visit your website, advertise your skills and hype you up.
Networking is overrated. Creating and Delivering value is underrated.

Steve Jobs could have sold 1GB of Storage for MP3s on the iPod. He instead chose to sell 1000 songs in your pocket. Steve Jobs was ahead of his time. He sold benefits instead of features.
It is the common phrase; "People don't want a quarter-inch drill, they want a quarter inch hole." Seth takes it even further and says, they don't want the hole, they want the feeling of organisation that comes with the shelf hanging on the wall.
Marketing 101: Sell the results. Don't sell your product. Jesus sold life after death (benefit). He didn't sell the acres of heaven, the large rooms in heaven. No, he just said; "imagine life after death..."

I participated in one of the Ontario government tele-townhall conference calls for Eastern Ontario at lunch today. I took about 4 pages of notes, trying to transcribe everything, so this tweet thread will be really long. Hopefully I don't misrepresent what someone said!
Some people might find some of the comments and opinions expressed on the call offensive. I know I sure did. I'm not going to list peoples' names in the tweets but will keep their city. They all sounded like real people and not robots pretending to be humans.
The call was moderated by Danielle, who represented herself as non-partisan and completely neutral. She made it clear that they monitor language and want to maintain respectful and courteous tones. You do a lot of listening, including to a welcome message from @LisaThompsonMPP.

Migrants fleeing violence are not a threat to our national security. The President’s tweets are hateful, false and frighteningly similar to anti-immigrant conspiracy theories shared by hate groups, extremists, and the alleged killer in Pittsburgh.
This isn’t the first time Trump has latched onto anti-immigrant rhetoric. And this isn’t the first time we’ve seen these conspiracies bounce between far-right extremists, conservative media and policymakers, including the president.

Earlier this year, I had lunch with @danwwang in Hong Kong.

His blogging advice was excellent:

1⃣ Write at a regular cadence.

2⃣ Emphasize the quality of your audience over engagement.

3⃣ Measure quality by the number of interesting inbound emails you receive.

That lunch set the tone for 2018.

"Quality is the only differentiator in the long run. Try to get that nailed down before worrying about engagement."

Reasons we're fucked:
1. White percentage steadily going down, nonwhites increasingly anti-white, large percentage of whites still cucking
2. Asymmetry: very easy for the libs to open the border and let millions in the next time they get into power; much harder to reverse
3. Our best arguments are self-interest and sustainability. It's easy for people to denounce self-interest as selfish,& the mob will tend to go along with that. Also, the anti-self interest argument is especially appealing when benefits are accruing to the top 1% rather than you.
3 (cont). As for sustainability, voters and governments are not known for worrying too much about anything 30+ years into the future.
