Anyone who went shopping on Christmas Eve knows deep in their heart the economy is booming. Never seen anything like it. Every store I went into had empty shelves. It looked like Venezuela before their next inflation "readjustment".
Personally I think it was due to a three factors.
1. First, the stores didn't stock their shelves correctly because they believed the doom and gloomers in the fake media.
2. Second, they didn't stock their shelves correctly because they think people will buy from the web
3. Third, the demand was much more than they thought it would be.

Also there were very little discounts. Another very positive economic data point.

One thing to look forward too now is that the inventories are low. This means companies will have to repurchase inventories
This will offset any negative impact from the government shutdown on GDP numbers. Sadly, for them not us, the dems' dreams of a recession are not coming true.
