I saw Solo during the holiday and it was so forgettable I only just remembered it happened.
Really wish the A Star Wars Story films would just break loose. Give up on the space adventure genre. Set that shit free.
I want Alien-style space horror with Vadar taking out rebel fighters on a drifting space ship, a western set on Tatooine, a romance set on the Deathstar, an Apocalypto-style film on the Wookie home planet exclusively in their own language.
They have one of the greatest universes ever created, just fucking play with all the toys.
But then given the fanboys cried themselves to sleep because Last Jedi apparently wasn't authentic enough, it may be unlikely to happen

The difference between Labour's Brexit policy and the government's is that they are promising to take much better care of their unicorns.
They will be free-range unicorns, fed with locally-sourced, ethically produced rainbow seeds.

The idea that we shouldn't have a second referendum because we'll be divided is very strange indeed. We already are divided. It already happened. You cannot wish it away. It is tantamount to just giving up the fight.
What matters is whether the winners are prepared to reach out to the other side and address their grievances. After two years it is clear Brexiters cannot do that. They won't even do it with their own side.
May had two years, two years in which at least half the Remainers I knew would have backed Brexit if they'd been given anything to work with. They were not.

This is nice, but I find it a bit disturbing that HSBC, Nike and Jigsaw are doing what musicians, artists and writers should be producing.
There have been a couple of ok bits and pieces, but the artistic backlash is negligible. Bit depressing as a culture if banks are proving braver and more radical than musicians.
It's been better in comics. Admittedly most of the ones trying to come to terms with Trump are terrible, but at least they've tried.

This morning I've finished Scott Kellys (@StationCDRKelly) Book "Endurance" ( bit.ly/endurance-scot… ). Some thoughts below.
First, thank you Scott for sharing your story along with many personal insights from your time in space. It's great to learn more about the long path to become an astronaut and all the immense effort behind the human space program.
While reading Scotts book I got to understand the scale of the challenges coming with living and working in space better. It starts with having no gravity assisting you with daily life, keeping yourself healthy and alert for the hostile environment you are living in.

But unlike a lot of other movies, people who talk about Star Wars almost inevitably talk about how Star Wars was made.
The stories behind the scenes of Star Wars are almost as fascinating as the stories the films tell.
