And here we go folks. The #DuchessofSussex is to officially become Patron of four different organisations that champion causes close to her heart.
The #DuchessofSussex will become Patron of:
- The @NationalTheatre 🎭
- Association of Commonwealth Universities (@The_ACU) 🎓
- @TheMayhew (who try to reduce # of animals in need) 🐶🐱
- @SmartWorksHQ (who help unemployed and vulnerable women with skills and training) 🙋♀️

Two of the patronages (@NationalTheatre and @The_ACU) have been passed to Meghan by The Queen. Her Majesty had previously been Patron of them for 45 and 33 years respectively. #DuchessofSussex
The #DuchessofSussex is getting stuck in to the new roles straight away. Later today she’ll visit @SmartWorksHQ to meet women who have benefited from the charity’s support. She’ll also help some of them find appropriate outfits and sit in on interview prep. Full details 👇🏼 
Kensington Palace say Meghan‘s held meetings with and privately visited all her new patronages and she’s “delighted” with the new roles. They added the #DuchessofSussex “feels she can use her position to focus attention on, and make a particular difference to these organisations“
