Tonight! Just looked and there are 4 spaces remaining! I’m talking about public attitudes to human rights.... here’s a sneak peak:
Important to remember that however much outrage you might see on twitter (in your echo chamber!) about replacing the Human Rights Act or over ECHR skepticism, these are relatively popular ideas amongst the wider population
That’s one of the reasons the Tories have kept their HRA repeal policy going for so long - it’s popular amongst right wingers and some closer to the centre
I’ll be digging into the empirical research which has been done in the past 10 years on public attitudes towards human rights (not that encouraging...) and suggesting some ways of improving things
