2/ This is a claim by Sir Philip Green in part relating to the disclosure by Lord Hain in Parliament of his identity relating to sexual misconduct allegations.
3/ Article 9 of the 1689 Bill of Rights protects Parliamentarians from being sued for anything relating to proceedings in Parliament. It's pretty sacrosanct but will be reviewed in this case. This judgment is just a pre-trial skirmish, full issues to be determined from 4 Feb
4/ Since the case is against the Telegraph, it also involves principles of freedom of the press under Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights. Watch this space!
