I’ve been doing this thing for a huge chunk of my adult life, and wow hey that’s real strange! 6/

But! While this has gotten weirdly popular, I’ve never sold t-shirts (you have plenty, I’m sure) or asked you to subscribe to a Patreon (I dunno, give me 5 bucks a month and I’ll send you an acorn?)
I do, from time to time, fundraise for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. 7/

And you guys have been incredibly generous over the years! Thank you for all that you have given! 8/

Since it's my birthday, and in honor of ten years of squirrel, I hope you’ll consider donating. 9/

Any amount that you give, no matter the size, helps researchers find cancer cures and lifesaving treatments. 10/

And really, for serious, your donations have a huge impact. 50 years ago blood cancer was a death sentence. Now, survival rates are as high as 90% for childhood leukemia. 11/

But blood cancer is still killing. I started fundraising after my friend Ray died of Lymphoma, about 8 years ago. In 2016, another friend died. These deaths are sad, terribly painful, and worst, unnecessary. We can, and should, beat this disease. 12/

I’m not a doctor, but I can do fundraising. And, for some reason, running a lot of miles is a more persuasive means of fundraising than simply asking, so: 13/
