Brilliant. However, I view this should be taken one step further and by law, everyones total compensation should be published in the workplace. Any inequality should be laid bare ->

I agree with transparency of compensation (of which salary is a part) WITHIN a firm.

I also agree that individuals should not be required to disclose salary history BETWEEN firms.
I also think there are some interesting approaches out there e.g. In Norway (H/T @simonstl) ... you can browse everyone’s tax returns but you might not want to - qz.com/784186/in-norw…
