Why did @LGJustinFairfax lie in his statement denying he committed sexual assault?

WaPo: "The Post did not find 'significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegations,' as the Fairfax statement incorrectly said."

Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus, right Dems?
WaPo says this was a lie. No red flags; pure he said/she said.

Please update @NBC12 @AlexWhittler.
Trolls don't warrant individual responses, but I'm amazed so many people pretend alleged therapist notes (not shared with WaPo) that Ford admitted name the wrong number of attackers in the wrong year somehow constitute corroboration rather than exculpation.

Says he never believed he appeared in the photo THAT HE APOLOGIZED FOR APPEARING IN YESTERDAY.
This is unbelievable.

He doesn't think it's him but he thought it could be because he went to racist parties.

And he put on blackface for another party, you should know, in case photos of that surface.

He's changed so much that in 2013 Old Ralph pointedly refused to shake his black opponent's hand and in 2017 he omitted his black runningmate from campaign material.

Fairrfax denies the allegations, which had been made previously.
Fairfax claims the @washingtonpost found "red flags" in the woman's story.
But the paper pushed back on that claim on February 4.
“The Post did not find ‘significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegations,’ as the Fairfax statement incorrectly said,” the Washington Post said in a story published Monday, disputing the lieutenant governor's statement.
Fairfax says the encounter was consensual.
The woman (unnamed by the Washington Post) says it was a sexual assault.
