I really hesitated about tweeting about this because I don’t like talking about my epilepsy. I never want special treatment or to look like I’m using it to get attention or whatever. But this is not about me and if you can’t use this platform for good causes what’s the point?
I developed it when I was 14 and for a while was having a seizure a month. They are scary - you always worry you’re going to hurt yourself or others, and it’s terrifying to have them alone, waking up disoriented and bruised. Medication helped immeasurably
And now, people with epilepsy have to worry about this google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theg… The selfishness of Brexiteers who see this kind of stuff as mere collateral to some vague notion of sovereignty really takes the breath away
I know this question is so pointless it’s rhetorical but what, really, is it going to take for someone in power to stop this country from hurting its own people for no reason?
