My Nan sent me this today. I don’t think she realised I’m more of an ‘anti-British traitor’ than Corbyn ever will be!

I love my Nan, but it got me thinking: why do so many Welsh people care about whos anti-British or not? We should all be anti-British. Heres why (a thread, soz):
People who are (imo) inexplicably proud of being British as well as Welsh. Honestly, why? Westminster doesn’t care about us and never has.

#Wales has a GDP per capita of approx £20,000 - England and Scotland, £40,000+. Why are we significantly poorer?
During the industrial revolution, Britain made it’s fortune and it’s empire.

Wales had the majority of the most valuable commodity in the world at that time, which fuelled both - anthracite coal.

‘Britain’ became rich. Wales didn’t.

Bill (the interviewer) points out the contradiction that Richard wants to completely rule out a #ScotRef in the future but Jeremy Corbyn want to decide later down the line.

Richard claims he didn't say that and claims he was simply opposed to independence. Let's check that
"PM Corbyn is asked in x number of months time by Nicola Sturgeon for the power to hold another independence referendum. She will undoubtedly have the backing of the Scottish parliament to do that. Does Prime Minister overule the Scottish Parliament?"

This is utterly embarrassing from Ruth Davidson. She is clutching at straws, attempting to distract from the numerous links between her party & Cambridge Analytica #FMQs
SNP has never worked with Cambridge Analytica. An external consultant had one meeting in London & judged them to be 'a bunch of cowboys', which turned out to be true. Normal practice for parties to hear pitches for work (see former CA CEO stating this in February)
So what about the Tories? Well, Strategic Communications Laboratories (SCL) - the reported parent company of Cambridge Analytica - has been run by a former chairman of Oxford Conservative Association ft.com/content/29a2d5…
