So ... Got banned from posting on @thedonaldreddit. Was trying to share information and get my name out to a larger audience. I believe my site to be a valuable resource and was commenting on a post saying they valued the research. It was dissappointing.

The reason given was for soliciting, which can be understandable, but how am I supposed to make a while community aware of a new resource without sharing that information? I wasn't asking for money and don't display ads. So there is no profit for increased views.
I do this to inform people. If they appreciate it enough to support/thank me for it, great!

Just disappointing.

Just The Real News weekly update!

This week I managed to fix a couple of the feed categories so that they are posting the information more reliably. This has been a ongoing issue for me but I am close to utilizing a way around my lack of knowledge in the matter.
A lot of the work I did this week is behind the scenes. I am working on gathering a comprehensive list of sources that I will be adding to my site in the (hopefully) near future. Its a HUGE list.
I want to thank you all for your continued support in this journey to creating the best government information aggregator that exists.

TUCSON, Ariz. – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Ajo Station encountered 325 Central Americans after the group illegally entered the country and surrendered to agents west of Lukeville Thursday morning.
A U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations helicopter, investigating a possible campfire spotted by a surveillance camera, discovered the group amid freezing temperatures.

At the end of the Economic Development Chat & Learn, people wrote down what they want to see as “table stakes” for our city’s growth through economic development in categories of economic stability, housing, financing, and social/community context. Some are questions we need 🧜🏻‍♀️
answered up front through every project. Other comments are specific asks. From my perspective, the overall sense of the meeting is that communities need to be included from the beginning before a RFP gets issues to negotiate and advocate for their own interests. 🧜🏻‍♀️
People seem to be tired of reliance on gatekeepers for access to self-advocacy and government. People want a clear pathway for all to know how to initiate being involved and heard for themselves. People want respectful communications, not sales pitches. 🧜🏻‍♀️
