If you read @GlennKesslerWP as a columnist with a point of view, he's a very consistent and thoughtful advocate for late-nineties/early-aughts centrism. It's the Post's decision to drape him in the mantle of unbiased holder of truths that's the problem.
And before we do "guhhh the left hates facts too," what the Harris piece demonstrates is that it's not the fact-checking part that's objectionable - it's the thick layer of editorializing that's applied over the facts. That's what turns the pieces into columns, not "fact-checks."
Further to this point. @GlennKesslerWP isn't a "fact-checker," he's a columnist with a point of view.
