There's an interesting part of Manafort plea hearing transcript right after redacted section on p.84 that mentions something that could negatively impact Manafort's chance for a pardon (which implies redacted info could impact Trump's decision re: pardon)

The section after Manafort concern about pardon says "proof with respect to that is not just" (info from Gates) ...

"You have a series of emails where we know that Mr. Kilimnik, in fact, is reporting [REDACTED]"

Who/what was Kilimnik reporting to/about?

Mueller's office has emails where they know Kilimnik is reporting...to someone or about something, that is proof related to concerns about a pardon

Next part says "the best piece of evidence is Manafort asking Gates to [REDACTED]"

I find this intriguing because it could refer to info Mueller has on who Kilimnik was reporting to (other than Manafort or Gates) or data he was reporting back on (beyond the polling data described elsewhere) that is important enough it impacts potential Trump pardon of Manafort
I wonder how Sam Patten's cooperation will shed light on the story - Kilimnik worked for Patten in Russia in 2001 before going to work for Manafort, Patten was a contractor for Cambridge Analytica in 2014 and set up Begemot Ventures w/Kilimnik in 2015

(THREAD) There are four types of cooperation deals that Paul Manafort could have entered into with Special Counsel Mueller—we don't know which one he has yet, but we can discuss each of them in turn and that's what I do in this thread. I hope you'll read on and share with others.
1/ The biggest bombshell would be if Manafort decided to give Mueller the goods on Trump—it'd be a bombshell because it'd break Manafort's Joint Defense Agreement (JDA) with Trump, end Manafort's chance at a pardon from Trump, and run a very high chance of ending this presidency.
2/ As authority for the claim Manafort flipping on Trump would endanger Trump's presidency I cite... Trump. NBC reported months ago that Trump was telling friends on the phone that he could "crush" Mueller and wasn't afraid of his probe *because* Manafort wasn't going to "flip."

#Manafort charging document for today's guilty plea includes details of his planting disinformation in US press to smear political rivals of his pro-Russia clients in Ukraine. Eg "Plant some stink on Tymo"—painting a female rival as a criminal who paid for murder. Sound familiar?
Manafort had used the same propaganda smear tactics in Ukraine that Trump rolled out in his campaign for president in 2016. Manafort not only had Tymo soliciting murder. He pushed tribal divisions, using "Obama Jews" & anti-Semitism to tarnish her. assets.documentcloud.org/documents/4883…

For those that might be interested, I wanted to give a short personal story about Microsoft and open source (and yes, GitHub is in there, too).

I joined Microsoft in 2012 to work on a little project that would make writing JavaScript a bit easier.
At the time, @typescriptlang had maybe 3 internal customers and wasn't yet public. The Microsoft of then looked a bit different, especially re: open source. There were only a handful of teams running on-going open source efforts, the asp.net team being one.
was presented with the plan for TypeScript: let's take it open source, where the developers are, and grow a community with it. It was a small project, but it had some potential.

Satya, to his credit (I was told, I wasn't there), was well-aware and supportive.
