Between December 30 and January 25 I collected 966687 tweets containing the word Benalla. The #Benalla affair is a political and judicial case involving Alexandre Benalla, who served as a security officer and deputy chief of staff to French President Emmanuel Macron 1/n

These purple nodes are actually 2 different communities. Let's focus on the first one 5/n

All these accounts are porn accounts. Why the hell 77 Twitter porn accounts decided to tweet 1523 times about the Benalla affair? 6/n
The second part of this purple nodes community is more interesting. It's composed of 932 Twitter accounts and did 75920 interactions. We can divide this 2nd part in 2 parts: one in the center of the interactions (bottom right here), one on the top left 7/n
Let's consider only the nodes on the top left. According to the names, these accounts are also porn accounts 8/n
What a surprise! Among these 20 porn accounts, @TwitterSupport did his work and suspended 18 accounts 9/n

I detected our number 5, @MacDemission, as a bot in December. @TwitterSupport finally did his work and removed his account 11/n
Our number 1 is @DupontAllan3. I flagged this suspicious account in December. Worth to say, this account is now restricted 12/n
Number 2 is @maria_andy2. Maria, this fan of Andy Murray, is tweeting a lot, 822K tweets since 2011. She also used to respect the Moscow time... 13/n
Number 13 is the bot @DuPouvoirDachat, this #GiletsJaunes bot owned by a foreigner has been detected since December, what are you waiting @TwitterSupport? 14/n
This is the list of the most influential Twitter accounts on this topic. Almost all these accounts are well known but wait a minute, who is the number 1? 15/n
This guy is not famous, it has only 6450 followers but all his tweets are more than 1K RTs and likes. Something is fishy here 16/n

The 31st December, 2018 between 11:55pm and 00:05am, 178 interactions has been done. It means 178 tweets with the word Benalla has been RT or created during this time. Regarding to the persons who did that, my New Year Eve was awesome 😂 18/n

I'm still suprise by these porn accounts. Moreover, I'm not able to find a tweet with the word Benalla made by these accounts 🤔. It's also weird that these porn accounts are divided in 2 separated community
