Our international friends really do get overexcited over a couple of cute serpents. And for the 100th time the snakes are not mating, they’re two males fighting for the right to mate a female that’s nearby. Our snakes are hetronormative. 🇦🇺

What would a far Left activist make of a privileged, powerful member of parliament @andrewjgiles who is also white & male calling a migrant woman of colour “vile”? It’s clear these woke dolts can’t even play by their own rules.
What’s vile is that more than 53,000 women & girls in Australia have suffered female genital mutilation...but don’t expect Labor luvvies to prioritise the plight of genuinely oppressed women over the delusional fantasies of privileged climate activists.

‘Rotherham, Oxford, Rochdale, Derby, Banbury, Telford, Peterborough, Aylesbury, Bristol, Halifax, Keighley, Newcastle... now Huddersfield.’ The systematic abuse of vulnerable girls & the failure of authorities to act because the offenders were from immigrant communities.
One vulnerable youngster, just 12 at the time, was forcibly removed from her care home by a thug who told staff: "I want to f*** her".
(Details can only now be disclosed after a judge lifted reporting restrictions following a challenge from the media)

Jeremy laying out the major consequences of the UK's approach of 28 unilateral #citizensrights guarantees in case of a no-deal Brexit.
2/ @Frenchcricket09 explains why the UK Govt's refusal to protect #citizensrights of EU citizens in the UK in an act of parliament has also negative consequences for the @BritishInEurope. European Govts are waiting to see how their citizens are protected before acting themselves.
3/ After arguing that separating, ring-fencing, of the #citizensrights part from the Withdrawal Agreement would be the best solutions for @BritishInEurope Jeremy Morgan raised his astonishment that UK already agreed rights with Switzerland & EFTA but refuses to do so with EU.

I did something similar to this 5 years ago, in anticipation of EC & @theroots' Wise Up Ghost LP, on tumblr.

(You can still find all those posts if you look, although a lot of the YouTube links etc are now dead ends. It was 40 Days Of EC then, so for 2018 I'm upping it to 45.)
Mostly I will be going chronologically from the early years right up to the present, but it feels right to start out with Costello's 2002 song, "45."
