I was posted to Oke-ilewo (My PU was close to the roundabout) The election was free save for an offer of bribe that led to a small chaos but all was sorted by security agent.
The real story behind that image happened at the collating centre where we went to submit the result.

One Professor from UNAAB was our collating officer (I don't remember his name now). We were on a queue when we heard gunshots into the air and pandemonium broke out in the school compound.... We were trapped... Is either the gate or the swamp.

For those who are familiar with Abeokuta, the image is the gate of a school located on a street adjacent to a Fidelity bank on the road from Panseke (I don't remember the name of the area now).
Before we knew it, the thugs were at the gate demanding for result sheet.

But Prof stood his ground, ask us to be calm but it is impossible when the police were running with us... But one of them was brave enough to crawled about 70m to lock that gate and because of his bravery, they couldn't enter the compound before military officers came

Many were injured, women with child on their back, tears and wailing in abundance because the men who came that day were not there to negotiate but to kill whoever stands between them and the result sheets and all the ballot boxes.

That election changed political landscape in Ogun State so without mentioning names you already know the actors behind the scene. Ballot snatching is not a pissing contest... It is a declaration of war on innocent voters.

The man behind this gruesome act is contesting in this election but pim 🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐
