Former Rep. Aaron Schock's petition for the Supreme Court to review a lower court's ruling that denied dismissal of the criminal case against him is denied.

The Supreme Court denies cert in Kathrine Mae McKee's request for the court to review a dismissal of her defamation case against Bill Cosby.

In a 14-page concurrence on the cert denial in the Cosby case, however, Justice Thomas suggests a wholesale review of libel law.

The Supreme Court, for a second time, sides with Bobby James Moore in his death penalty case out of Texas. This time, however, at least Roberts joins with his more liberal colleagues — writing forcefully about the way the Texas court handled this.
