Bernie, If someone bought something for $300,000 and it doesn't work, your solution is to stick the bill on taxpayers so even more people could get the same defective product for free. Ask yourself why are those people not able to earn enough to pay off the loan.
The student loans wouldn't be a problem if the education they are used to pay for is valuable enough to enable students to earn enough to pay off the loans easily. If the education received is not valuable enough to enable that, the solution isn't to have govt subsidize it.
Making college free in the U.S. would only ensure that colleges continue to churn out completely unemployable graduates with impunity. Combine that with UBI and soon enough you will have a nation full of ideologically opiated masses that are unemployed and unemployable.

1. Mother of CFPB -- Elizabeth Warren!

This right here is why I cannot stand Elizabeth Warren. My disgust for her is rooted firmly in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which she created on Obama's direction.
2. Consumer protection is an essential function of the govt, but that is not what this agency is actually about. CFPB is an unconstitutional monstrosity that is structured to be accountable to no one.
3. CFPB's budget is not controlled by Congress. So Congress does not have control of the purse string for CFPB. Even the POTUS cannot spend the money Congress does not allocate, but CFPB has no such restrictions on it.

Headline: "Trump's Hanoi summit off to rough start even before his arrival."
I saw that and thought something untoward had happened. Turns out the "rough start" consisted entirely of the U.S. press being asked to move from one hotel to another. Oh, well! Very rough indeed.

1. Democratic Governor in Colorado Volunteers Coloradans To Be Impotent

He is ready to cut off his nose to spite his face ... because Hillary lost. He has decided all future presidential candidates should be relieved of the burden of having to ask Coloradans for their votes.
2. Using stats from 2016 presidential election, each Coloradan's vote was worth 1 in 2.7 million (that's how many votes were cast in Colorado). Had this change been in place, each Coloradan's vote would have been only worth 1 in 137 million (total votes cast in the nation).
3. So Democratic leaders in Colorado decided to make each Coloradan's vote in a presidential election now matter one-fiftieth (1/50th) as much as before. Congratulations, Coloradans! You didn't elect these Democrats for nothing. Nobody works harder to disenfranchise you!

The biggest security vulnerabilities are those that are unthinkable.

They're the things that it doesn't even occur to you could realistically happen.

That's why the country is still paralyzed by this hybrid warfare / psyops / agitprop -- it's like we never though it could work.
We genuinely never thought that our perceptions of reality are so fragile that someone could literally hack it.

"Hacking minds," as @brooklynmarie eloquently puts it.

Our connection to reality is much, much more tenuous than we think.

In truth, EVERYTHING you perceive is a mental construct.

All of it.

Your eyes aren't video cameras or windows. All that raw sensory data gets assembled inside your head, and most of it (at any given time) isn't even a live image.

Facebook has suspended all of @IntheNow_tweet's facebook pages, apparently in coordination w/ CNN, on the grounds that In The Now doesn't disclose who funds it (Ruptly). This is an outrageous standard that is not applied to other outlets, like NPR or AJ+. amp.cnn.com/cnn/2019/02/15…
This is after weeks of CNN digging around to find dirt on us. We then reached out to CNN and let them interview us, which felt more like a police interrogation. The interviewer didn’t like my anti war political views, even attacked my criticism of Trump’s coup in Venezuela.
CNN says it was alerted to @IntheNow_tweet by The German Marshall Fund, which receives funding from the US government. So here you have a US government funded outfit prompting CNN to help get us kicked off Facebook.

@HoustonChron There is a correlation between these religions that have at their core strict high boundaries about premarital sex, sexuality, and gender roles. Male leadership is paramount, and sexuality is repressed.
@HoustonChron What is this correlation? The more they suppress sexuality, the more likely they are to abuse it. And the more likely they are to blame victims for the abuse.
