With all of the week's drama with Cohen and Trump's North Korea talks, it'll be interesting to see how the White House spins the OPCW report on Douma if it's released this week, as rumoured.
The White House statement claimed that along with chlorine "some additional information points to the regime also using the nerve agent sarin." To me, it seems very unlikely Sarin was used, just chlorine, so this statement might come back to haunt them whitehouse.gov/briefings-stat…
So even if the OPCW confirms chlorine use by the Syrian government, the White House could still be in for criticism for following the Douma attack with air strikes on targets in Syria because of their statement indicating they believed Sarin was used.
