Imagine if a Jewish conservative compared Jews voting for Democrats to being at Auschwitz. That’s how offensive @RealCandaceO is when she compares the African-American community’s record of voting for democrats to being on a plantation.
It is making a mockery of the ACTUAL experience of slavery which was brutal, repressive, replete with lynchings and rape and is in no way comparable to *checks notes* casting a vote.
That this has become a rallying call of the Republican Party is absolutely atrocious.
