So, found something interesting today. Still working out some of the details, but it appears that Epstein didn't just have a *private* plane... his associated aviation entities were all 'charters' eligible to transport foreign nationals eligible for the US Visa Waiver Program.

Hyperion Air, Inc., from 2009, seems to be updated with the proper name - Hyperion Air LLC.

That was the holding company for the Gulfstream and at least one helicopter.
So. My question:

Even after he was apparently only convicted of recruiting a 16 year old for sexual servitude, how is it possible that, given the dozens of those who had accused him of sexual assault and trafficking over the 10 prior years,
How was Epstein was permitted to operate not just a private jet, but multiple aircraft as charters registered to bring foreign citizens without previously issued visas from among so many nations known to be linked to trafficking?

Seriously, I just can't...
Oh - and oddly enough, JEGE + Hyperion list themselves as charter services, but they're not FAR Part 135 certified.

I know Part 91 (private) operators can be VWP signatories (see below), but I'm pretty sure they can't be a charter without being Part 135...

Or can anybody explain how that works for me? I don't think we learned that in ground school.
