Many people have now informed me that it's totally legit to take birds of prey on an airplane, unless they're sick. Then it's Ill Eagle.
The person who really deserves credit here is my Uncle Mike, who slayed me with this joke in, like, 1987. I've always remembered it, and this video of falcons gave me the chance to use it to full effect.
The success of this tweet has brought back a repressed memory of the time I was not allowed to board a plane with my beloved pet snails. They forced me to ship them as cargo.
