A Twitter account for an anti-abortion movie (@UnplannedMovie) was promoted earlier today by the official account of the Vice President of the United States (@VP)

The account is now tweeting out slogans for the lunatic Qanon conspiracy theory (WWG1WGA)

UPDATE: @UnplannedMovie deleted their Qanon tweet but we have the receipts

1. One of the things about politics these days is we forget about stuff way too quickly.

Remember last year when a bunch of companies announced bonuses and said it was all due to the Trump tax cut?

2. As it turns out, bonus compensation increased by ONE PENNY in 2018

In other words, all those flashy bonus announcement were BS. Companies didn’t spend substantially more on bonuses last year than any other year

3. Of course while each bonus announcement generated headlines, the actual data is virtually ignored

This isn’t an accident. The corporate world knew people wouldn’t bother to check. The announcements were a reward to Trump for cutting their tax rate

This is not an extreme view -- it's shared by many.

Luke can't publish in the Globe on his own. He has editors and they liked and tweeted his piece.
3. I didn't get a chance to read Luke's piece before it was yanked but apparently it included a reference to pissing on something. This does not surprise me because many of Luke's pieces include a piss reference.

1. I looked at thousands of Trump's Facebook ads for 2020 and discovered the campaign is (again) exploiting the platform to manipulate and mislead voters popular.info/p/inside-trump…
2. The Trump campaign has run hundreds of ads featuring testimonials from voters. One features "Howard from New Mexico." He's depicted as an elderly African American man.

"Sir, you have really inspired me and brought back my faith in this great nation"

3. But in many other versions of the ad, "Howard" is no longer an older African-American man. He is a young African-American man, engrossed in his cell phone.

Twitter continues to refuse to suspend Trump, despite his regular violations of the rules. Now Twitter is suspending political journalists who dare to speak up against Trump. The reason is obvious: he's the President of the United States, and he's their best customer...
We've been made aware of several other prominent Trump critics who have been suspended this past week, despite not violating any rules. We're currently exploring this as a possible class action suit. Twitter has chosen the wrong side – and it will lose badly.

(THREAD) MAJOR BREAKING NEWS: Mike Flynn will plead guilty to Making False Statements at 10:30 AM EST today (Friday). This is the biggest development in the Russia probe so far. This thread explains what it all means, and will be updated throughout the day. Please read and share.
1/ First, it's important to understand that Mueller has entered into a plea deal with Flynn in which Flynn pleads guilty to far less than the available evidence suggests he could be charged with. This indicates that he has cut a deal with Mueller to cooperate in the Russia probe.
2/ We've already seen Mueller do this once before in the probe, with George Papadopoulos—who was charged with the same crime as Flynn, Making False Statements, to secure his cooperation with the Russia probe. The Papadopoulos plea affidavit emphasized facts were being left out.
