1. My friend @lukeoneil47 got a bulls-eye on his back when he wrote an extremely powerful piece in his Hell World newsletter about people who lost family members to the Fox News vortex

@BostonGlobe is now helping Fox get their revenge

@lukeoneil47 @BostonGlobe 2. Luke also has been writing op-eds for the Boston Globe and wrote one about how Kirstjen Nielsen is not a good person.

This is not an extreme view -- it's shared by many.

Luke can't publish in the Globe on his own. He has editors and they liked and tweeted his piece.
3. I didn't get a chance to read Luke's piece before it was yanked but apparently it included a reference to pissing on something. This does not surprise me because many of Luke's pieces include a piss reference.
4. Anyway, Fox News, which traffics nightly in white nationalism and xenophobia, apparently was scandalized by the reference to piss and went after Luke.

Or they actually just didn't care but wanted revenge for Luke's article on family members that was widely read and praised.
5. The Boston Globe, instead of standing behind an op-ed that they EDITED AND PUBLISHED, decided to substitute the judgement of Fox News and yanked the piece, noting that Luke was "not on staff." As if Luke was a hacker and just published his piece while no one was looking
6. This is pathetic by the Boston Globe which is supposed to be a real paper and deeply unfair to Luke, who just submitted his opinion for the Boston Globe's consideration. For the Globe to publish and then throw Luke under the bus because Fox didn't like it is wrong.
