Let’s call it “How To Generate Sales with a N3k budget”

The platform is Facebook. And by Facebook I hope you know it includes Instagram.

The budget is N3000

The goal is N50k sales daily

When I say Facebook ads I’m not talking about the ones you create by clicking the boost post button on Facebook or the promote button on Instagram.

Those ads are engagement ads and are not aimed at real time conversion. In simple English they are for likes and comments
To kick off you need to own a business manager account. Just go to business.facebook.com to create an ad account. It’s simple nothing complicated.

You can choose to open a usd ad account or a Naira ad account. Difference is the first is post paid and the later prepaid.
Once you successfully create your ad account proceed to link your Instagram account also to the ad account. Just click on business setting section and take it from there.
You need to link it since you will be running your ads on FB & IG
Now let’s get to business. Under ads manager is where we will be creating our first ad.

Click on the Create button

Then choose your marketing objective which will be conversion.

Name your campaign eg converrsion for beauty product

Next turn on the budget optimisation button
The purpose of turning on budget optimization is to help Facebook spend your money equally and especially on adsets that will bring you more sales
Choose your budget. Either 3k daily or 1k daily.
Choose your conversion event location.
Because your ad account is new you will be asked to create something called a pixel. Please create one it is super important. It’s how you track everything
Choose your location. If you are choosing states please make sure you are choosing state not cities. Don’t make the mistake of choosing Lagos city instead of Lagos state . It happens
Choose the age you are targeting. Based on experience I have noticed that the people with spending power online are between ages 23 and 59
Next choose the gender
Next thing is to move to interests. You want to make sure that the audience of your selected interest is nothing less than a million people.

Also try not to exceed 10 interests. If you ask me I will say 5 -6 strong interests should do the job
To know what interests to target you can either make use of audience insight to find out what your audience is interested in or you can free style.
Eg for beauty niche I might target people with interests like beauty , cosmetics , Kim Kardashian, Mary Kay etc. You get the drift
Next you move to placements. Choose edit placements . No point using the automatic placements when you are not eligible for some of them or have the creatives to suit them.
For placements choose FB feeds , IG Feeds and Stories
Next choose your conversion window. Choose the one day click window. Meaning Facebook should show people who are most likely to click that day and decide that day . I mean you are on a budget no time to waste money
Next thing is to create your ad.
For your text or ad copy make sure you address a pain point meaning say something that will make the customer say ha I need this product.
It’s either you keep it short and persuasive or you go long with a story telling format .
Make use of emoji
If you have a website or if your driving the traffic to your online store don’t forget to include your link.

Make use of videos they convert more than still images. Worse case make use of a carousel
Publsih your ads and there you go.
The extra trick I want to teach you is something called cbo strategy it’s not new but most people don’t use it
The trick is simple. Return to your ads manager section. What you do is go to the adset level click on the only adset there and duplicate it to atleast 2 places .

Next you proceed to the ads level and duplicate each ad into one place each.

Why you may ask? This is so you have more chances of generating sales and so you avoid a case where the only ad you create gets seen by people who won’t buy. This way you have multiple ads to show different people in your target audience
But what this also means is you spend more and make more money.
In summary this is how you create a winning ad.
