If you're wondering what unites authentic Black Conservatism & authentic Black Progressivism: BOTH are race-conscious ---- not colorblind.

Another observation: I find that ethnic-immigrants and African Americans who are largely raised primarily in White families, or white-evangelical churches (not the Black Church) are colorblind and tend to have a hard time understanding why we even have a BLACK church.
Or, why race is a factor at all.
It usually takes them growing up, and then experiencing racism outside of their safe-space before they can relate.

In some cases their answer to racism is to not have any connections to African Americans.
It's an attempt to say, "See, I'm not like them."
