People telling African-Americans to get over centuries years of white-supremacy, and the colorblindness arguments, the rise in hate-crimes, and white-nationalist attacks on identity politics.

I believe it’s all related, that there's a strong correlation.

By setting fire 🔥 to the past, they can remake reality to fit their lily-white objectives. And African Americans and Jews (due to our dissimilar histories) kind of stand in the way of that.
So, they have to encourage us to get over our histories, or fabricate history, or get rid of us.
Our lives are a living repudiation of their goals.
The fact that we escaped their murderous plots & plans for us must really infuriate them.

If you're wondering what unites authentic Black Conservatism & authentic Black Progressivism: BOTH are race-conscious ---- not colorblind.
We share this.
Another observation: I find that ethnic-immigrants and African Americans who are largely raised primarily in White families, or white-evangelical churches (not the Black Church) are colorblind and tend to have a hard time understanding why we even have a BLACK church.

One of the privileges of being white in America: You can burn shit down and no one blames your individual misdeeds on your entire white community.

No one says, it's their "culture".
No one says, "Why don't the white people take responsibility for a member of their community."
But let a Muslim or a black person burn shit dowm, and all of a sudden any concept of "individualism" is thrown out the window whilst "collective" condemnation is in.

It was a strategy to wipe out Black Republican power in the South, and it was waged by white-racist Republicans on behalf of white-racist-Democrats. It started in the 1800’s and ended in the 50’s.

Identity politics thrive in Nigeria. Sadly, it doesn’t look like this will change anytime soon. A lot of calculations are being made for 2019/2023.

It’s almost certain the President in 2019 will come from the north.
If someone new (from the north) comes in 2019, he’ll want to do his/her own 2 terms.

People in the south also want one of their own to be president. If Buhari fails in 2019, the south will have to wait 12 years to produce a President.
A question the south will ask themselves in 2019 is, “why do we have to wait for 12 years? We’ve already waited 4 years”

For the south, Buhari presents the surest chance of having a go in 2023.
