If you’re able to do it, carrying babies (and toddlers!) in a sling is incredibly fun and incredibly convenient. I grin ear to ear every time I see a kid in a sling.
With a sling and a pair of cargo pants, you can head out for the day with a baby with nothing to schlep and both hands free. And the sling itself weighs almost nothing.
I have a bad back, but I took my kids everywhere in the sling for years.
And the kid is RIGHT THERE, too. It’s so intimate, so connected.
