When was Obstruction of Justice statute amended to say coverup isn’t illegal if you believe the investigation is unfair? I can’t find that language.
I guess now you can lie under oath, intimidate witnesses, and threaten police as long you think you’re innocent. @matthewamiller
2/ I also can’t find the amendment to the obstruction statute that says this new exemption only applies to powerful white men.

But something tells me not everyone else can get away with telling their children and business associates to lie to the police.
3/ I’m also trying to find out who deleted the words “or attempted” from the federal criminal code.
Apparently, it’s not a crime anymore to “attempt” to organize obstruction, or, say, a terrorist attack or bank robbery, as long as your crew refuses to do the job. Curious.
