Im going through my 10th "clean out my old documents" effort. I found a "mentally ill" box. One: a woman sent 1000s of documents to prove her doctor and Social Security conspired with AT&T to make her sick, & that was how John Lennon really died.

...why I kept this for ten years I will never know. I tended to just throw stuff in boxes when I didn't know what to do with them. I'm really down to the dregs of documents.
...by the way, her proof was a little tweaky: Old magazines and newspapers with arbitrary words circled, letters from SSI with her scribblings on them, torn out pieces of the Bible with explanations of the message contained in an typographical divider image on the front page.
...just for interest, here is one of the thousands of pages of "proof." Read the lower right corner, and you will see how sad this actually is to know there is someone so troubled. 
...btw, she tore the Bible, not me.
