1. Now that fake Christian @Franklin_Graham is ranting about @PeteButtigieg being gay and the Bible, let's have fun underscoring Graham's disgusting, cherry-picking hypocrisy.

First, Graham is of course a big support and fan of Donald Trump....

@Franklin_Graham @PeteButtigieg 2...like most Christians who never actually read the Bible, Graham seems to believe it is a big treatise on homosexuality. But Graham's God-King, Trump, not only has violated the words of Jesus, but continues to violate the Ten Commandments everyday he stays married to Melania...

Now, here is what Jesus said about homosexuality...

Except, as these people NEVER know, the essence of Pauline Christianity, as depicted in Acts, is that faith in Jesus supplants Mosaic law of Old Testament...

So, where does this condensation come from if not from Jesus or the Gospels? From Paul, in a couple of his letters. The first is in 1 Timothy. Now....

@Franklin_Graham @PeteButtigieg 6...Biblical scholars widely accept that 1 Timothy is a forgery, and not actually written by Paul, primarily because it is in direct conflict with other writings by Paul. But assume it is real. The section that has been interpreted as relating to homosexuality....

@Franklin_Graham @PeteButtigieg 7...ALSO says - in the same sentence - that it is condemning the disobedient, liars and drunks. Trump easily fits under the category of liars. But that's ok by Frank!

The next big one cited is Romans. This is undoubtedly written by Paul, so at least it makes sense to cite it....

There is no flashing light around the words seen as about homosexuality - they are all on equal footing. So what else does Paul condemn in the....

@Franklin_Graham @PeteButtigieg 9...SAME sentence and section? Debating (all of Congress is damned?), being prideful, disobeying parents and deceiving people. Here, Trump hits three on the head - debating ("You're a puppet.") Being prideful (Are you kidding? I need to prove this?) And once again, lying....

He picks and chooses which parts of the *same sentence* he wishes to highlight depending on which politician he is talking about. His type of hucksterism is exactly why organized religion is taking a dive, why people are....

When the history of this era is written, and we get to the section about the death of religion, Franklin Graham's picture will be there. Along with the words "prideful" and "liar."
