Ok so I've never done a tweetstorm. This is really more of a tweet list of the alternatives to VC financing. Please let me know if you have others to add to the list:
1/ @IndieVC: Avg $250k in revenue the year prior to taking investment from us. checks between $100k and $1M (average is $285k).
2/ @TheRiversideCo: $1-5m. B2B SaaS companies across all sectors w/proven business model at $3m+ ARR.
3/ @LighterCapital: Up to 1/3 of your annualized revenue run rate (they invest $1-3m so you're proably doing $3-9m run rate)
4/ @TIMIACapital: For co's at $1m ARR to help them grow to $10m ARR. Invest $1-3m.
5/ @SaaSCapital: SaaS companies (duh), lend $2-$12m for companies w/at least $250k MRR
6/ @bigfootcapital: SaaS companies who have already found their first early customers. Unclear desired run rate or investment size.
7/ @clearbanc: eCommerce and Consumer SaaS. Avg Monthly revenue of $10k, at least 6 months of revenue history. They loan up to $1m/mo.
8/ @EarnestCapital: $25k MRR or less. Love remote-first companies. Website doesn't say avg check size.
9/ @revupcapital - For co's with $500K-$3M revenue, doesn't say on website what avg check size is.
Thx @pmckeats @AliBHamed @pmontee @drillings @tylertringas and to @davetisch for raising the question in his @cornell tech class about whether every company should go after VC. Here's my original tweet where I gathered some of this info:
My tweet list ended with an embedded tweet which is a bit confusing.Expand to see all 10 companies that are alternatives to venture financing.
