1. Outline of the role that Joseph Biden has had in the mass incarceration of black Americans. In short, he built that. fee.org/articles/joe-b…
2. "In 1994, Biden’s signature piece of legislation, the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act, was signed into law by President Clinton."
3. " The bill expanded the federal government’s use of the death penalty, banned certain people from owning assault weapons, denied certain higher education rights to inmates, and included the “three-strike” provision for repeat offenders. "
4. "It also contributed to the dramatic rise in the country’s prison population in the years that followed."
5. "Perhaps the most egregious of Biden’s transgressions is the role he played in the creation of the 100-to-1 sentencing disparity between crack and powder cocaine."
6. "As the country panicked over the “crack” epidemic, legislators set out to dole out harsher punishments to those found guilty of selling the substance."
7. "The Anti-Drug Abuse Act, which was written at least partially by Biden, changed the law so that those caught with a mere five grams of crack cocaine were subject to the same mandatory minimum as those caught with 500 grams of powdered cocaine."
8. "The application of this law disproportionately harmed African-American communities and contributed to mass incarceration."
9. As I "joked" earlier, Biden probably plagiarized the part he "wrote," since he has a history of that as well. But I digress.
10. In 2012, Biden said of the Republicans, "they're going to put y'all back in chains." Contrary to popular reporting he was speaking of all Americans, not just black ones. However, the projection has always been strong in this one.
11. When Barack Obama picked him as his running mate in 2008, it was BHO's one true stroke of genius. No one wanted the venal Biden as president, not even the Democrats -- *especially* not them. And they don't want him to be the nominee in 2020, either.
12. Even the Democrats have standards. More likely, they have a sense of self-preservation.
13. Former President Obama managed to choose a vice president who would be a worse president than he was, thereby making himself impeachment-proof -- assuming the choice was BHO's idea.
14. Anyway, I don't think Biden will be the 2020 nominee, unless some shenanigans are in play, which, of course means, maybe he will be.
15. I just want to remind others that Biden is a horrible human being in general, His penchant to fondle children in plain sight is the worst of it, but I contend that no one is safe from him.
16. And I can't decide whether or not I want him to be the Dem's nominee against President Trump. Certainly, the president would mop the floor with Biden.
17. But I'd rather not see Biden's face in the news every day, much less contemplate the catastrophe of Biden as president.

We'll see what the future holds.

ADDENDUM: Almost forgot this from the link.

"In 1998, Biden’s daughter Ashley was arrested for cannabis possession in Louisiana. While others arrested for the same offense faced sentences sometimes spanning decades, Ashley Biden was never convicted of any drug-related crime."
"In 2014, Hunter Biden was discharged from the Navy after testing positive for cocaine. Like his daughter, no charges were ever filed against Biden’s son."

Chains for thee and me, but not for Biden's progeny.

That's all.
