Not sorry, but those Mary Suing Arya must have been under a rock the past six seasons where her character’s entire arc was all about that moment (and I suspect other future ones like it) — beginning with Syrio Forel.
I mean you’ll believe in a night king that controls a dead horde, dragons, and weirwood trees but not the story arc of someone who trained with the Faceless Men their entire adolescence lol ok.
I don’t know what these means for the Azor Ahai prophecy. We’re only halfway through next week and frankly no one has a concrete grasp of who Ahai is or how it proceeds, but don’t forget Jon was brought back for a purpose, too.

My kids hunt and visit the range regularly. There is no daylight there. However, I’m a mother, so I don’t use them to make up for any shortfalls in my advocacy. It’s inappropriate, and they deserve to just be kids. I’m sorry that some parents don’t do the same.

BTW, some of the comments in this thread illustrate how economic illiteracy is an epidemic in this country. Holy Moses.
If some of these people had self awareness, they probably wouldn't parade their insane lack of education so proudly.
If you want to discuss an org that receives actual taxpayer dollars AND is a “nonprofit” that makes bank, check Planned Parenthood. They get half a billion tax dollars annually.

Because blaming me and millions of law-abiding Americans is the sane and mature response — not asking how a family was unaware of what their possibly mentally ill 18 year-old under their roof was plotting or obsessing over. Example A of how discussions are impossible.
A dangerous person running around a city is an exact reason why Constitutional rights to protect yourself and your family are important.
The suspect is “infatuated” with Columbine. Studies have shown oversaturated coverage with repeats of the murderers’ names and faces may contribute to copycat incidents: cnn.com/2015/07/02/hea…

Those takes are really poor: Why is she unlikely to survive it? I know that journalists are normally not analysts or political scientists who do those kind of strategic takes for living under the scrutiny of nitpicking peers but a bit less intellectual laziness would be helpful.
Yes, it's extraordinary and yes, it will be humiliating giving that it's almost certain that Tories are set to lose a massive amount of seats and tank against Brexit party because large parts of their grassroots and supporters are nuts enough to embrace no deal.
But this doesn't mean anything in terms of her current position. They can't force her to go, if she doesn't want to resign they are stuck with her. Also, does anybody really believe she doesn't know how unpopular she is among grassroots and supporters?

Right now, meeting people online is weird. In a decade, it'll be totally normal. If Tinder can capitalize on this emergent social trend, it'll be a massive business.

I feel like driving up some controversy, so how about a thread of Hot Takes/Unpopular Opinions! You know the drill, one like = one take/opinion.

Start easy: the blunt awkwardness/cringe of 'Blurryface' is the point of taking the piss out of Tyler. I stand by my light 9/10.
2. I don't hate Nickelback's 'Dark Horse' - it's easily a record for them at their most tasteless, but the frat-bro swagger of it helps some of their better hooks.
3. 'Fireflies' by Owl City is a genuinely terrific song that captures precocious, starry-eyed wonderment better than few others in the 2000s.

It is SPECTACULARLY lame, but that's why it works.
